A Visit To The Farm

Sandy Hook kindergarteners went on their first field trip this year to Schreiber’s Farm in Oxford. The weather was beautiful and the children were able to enjoy a hay ride, feed the cows, pick out their own pumpkins, and see goats, pigs, sheep, and other farm animals.

The cows came right over to the wagon the children were riding in to get a bite of hay. After giving the cows a snack the kindergarteners had a snack of their own, doughnuts and apple cider. During the visit the children had the chance to see a newborn lamb.
