VETERANS’ DAY

Tercentennial Veterans’ Day Ceremony, 11 am, at Soldiers & Sailors Monument, Main Street at Hanover Road, service to honor all of Newtown’s veterans will include the dedication of memorial plaque for Gulf War veterans.

“Colonial Life” workshop, begins 11 am, Matthew Curtiss House-Museum, 44 Main Street, free, one-hour hands-on program for grades K–3 will show differences between Colonial and contemporary lives of children, registration required (space limited); 426-5937.
