Genealogy Program

PLAINVILLE — The Connecticut Society of Genealogists will hold a program, “The Great Meadow, Farmers and the Land in Colonial Concord,” on Saturday, November 19, at 11 am, at J. Timothy’s Taverne, 143 New Britain Avenue.

The speaker will be Brian Donahue, assistant professor of American Environmental Studies, Jack Meyerhoff Foundation, Brandeis University.

Reservations are required; call the Connecticut Society of Genealogists’ office in Glastonbury at 860-569-0002.

The Connecticut Society of Genealogists was founded in 1968 as a nonprofit organization to encourage and promote genealogical research and publication, to maintain and elevate genealogical standards and to provide instructional and educational programs and publications. With more than 4,500 members, CSG Inc is among the largest societies devoted exclusively to US genealogy.
