Morath Photos At Minor Library

ROXBURY — Photographs by the world-famous photographer Inge Morath are on exhibit at Minor Memorial Library until Monday, November 14, during regular library hours: Saturdays, 10 am to 2 pm, Mondays, 12 noon to 6 pm, Wednesdays, 10 am to 7 pm, Thursdays and Fridays, 10 am to 5 pm.

Arthur Miller, Ms Morath’s husband, noted that to her “visual art was almost literally her food” and her magnificent photographs are testimony to a life immersed in the discovery of the art around her.

“Minor Memorial Library is proud to host this very special exhibit,” said library director Valerie Annis, “and we encourage our friends and neighbors to take this opportunity to enjoy these extraordinary photographs.” The exhibit is made possible by The Estate of Inge Morath, the organization created to document and conserve Ms Morath’s contribution to photography.

Minor Memorial Library, which is at 23 South Street in Roxbury, is handicapped-accessible. Call 860-350-2181 for information and directions.
