UU Congregation Moves To
New Home
DANBURY â The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury (UUCD) moved to its new location on 24 Clapboard Ridge Road in Danbury. Inaugural services in the newly constructed fellowship hall were held on Sunday, November 6.
The move culminates a ten-year effort by the congregation to move to a larger and more centrally located facility from its former home in West Redding.
The Rev Linda Hansen, minister of the UUCD, remarked that âthis is an exciting time for us. We are thrilled to be returning to the roots of our congregation in Danbury and to be moving to a beautiful new space which will facilitate our continued growth.â
Rev Hansen is a resident of Newtown.
