Patricia Jean Miller

Attorney, Taught At Sacred Heart University

Patricia Jean Miller, 76, of Fairfield, beloved wife of George Miller, died November 8.

In addition to her devoted husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tracy H. Hubbard, and her husband Stuart, of Newtown; two grandchildren, Ellis and Tess Hubbard; and five stepbrothers and sisters.

Mrs Miller attended the legal assistant program at Sacred Heart University and was the vice president and president of the Connecticut Association of Paralegals from 1976 to 1980. She received her bachelor of legal administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Sacred Heart University in 1979. She furthered her studies at the University of Bridgeport where she received her JD in 1984 and was associate editor of Law Review. In 1984, Mrs Miller was admitted to the Connecticut Bar and admitted to practice in Federal Court in 1985.

She became partner at Miller & Jacobs, before starting her own private practice. As an attorney, she taught business law at Sacred Heart University as adjunct professor between 1985 and 1990.

Private services were entrusted to the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home in Fairfield Center.
