At Next Flagpole Meeting

Photographs taken at the Pleasance will be the featured competition at Flagpole Camera Club’s next meeting, scheduled for Thursday, November 20, at 7:30 pm. The meeting will be in the lower meeting room of C.H. Booth Library.

Several members of the club convened on June 26 at The Pleasance, the garden-park at the corner of Sugar Street and Main Street, for a year-end social gathering in addition to photographing various subjects for competition at the November meeting. Members who were unable to be at the June 26 shoot will compete in a separate competition category of photos taken at the Pleasance anytime.

The program for the meeting will be a slide show of the photos that those photographers at the June event chose not to use in competition.  

Another part of the program will be a slide show consisting of photos that various members have taken using an Instamatic camera throughout the summer. Each member was allowed to take one exposure.

New members are always welcome and dues are $20 per year.
