Ritz Camera Flashing Back To 1940s Pricing

SOUTHBURY — What can you get for five cents today?

Ritz Camera & Image, with a location in the Southbury Plaza, recently announced it is offering five-cent digital prints every Tuesday and Wednesday through Christmas.

All company stores are rolling print prices back to the 1940s because five cents is the same price Ritz Camera charged for a black and white print in the early 1940s.

According to CEO David Ritz, “We feel it is important for our customers to preserve and protect their digital images by making prints, and what better way to allow everyone to do that than with nickel prints?”

Ritz Camera will be selling “Same Day” digital prints for five cents every Tuesday and Wednesday through Christmas.

Ritz Camera’s Same Day digital prints are available at all Ritz Camera & Image, Wolf Camera and Image, and other related stores throughout the United States and online at www.ritzpix.com, where there are no additional shipping charges for pictures ordered online for in store pick-up.
