To the Editor:

The picture of Lake Zoar in the [November 15, 2019] paper is easily identified as the community center at the bottom of Alpine Drive and Underhill Road in Riverside, Sandy Hook. Another view of the bay is seen in Dan Cruson’s book, Newtown 1900-1960, on page 96 with the boat, Miss Riverside, docked, as well as page 98 showing two different overviews of the same area, ten years apart.

ROLZA [Riverside On Lake Zoar Association] is now in a full effort of restoring the pavilion to its former glory and inviting local neighbors to join them!
