Children’s Holiday Journey Will Make

A Stop At Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD — The holidays — Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa — are magical. The music, the colors, the festivities, they all add up to one special time, especially for children.

“The Children’s Holiday Journey,” a holiday show by The Learning Station, will be offered at The Ridgefield Playhouse for Music and the Performing Arts on Thursday, December 1, at 4:30 and 6:30 pm.

“‘The Children’s Holiday Journey’ is all about music and movement, a time to put on your dancin’ shoes,” says Don Monopoli of The Learning Station.

“It’s a festive good time” that is also shares a special feeling of caring, sharing and holiday cheer.

Music becomes the universal, multicultural language as everyone joins together to celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, sparking imaginations with both the music and interactive theater.

Founded in 1985, The Learning Station is a nationally recognized children’s recording and performing company. The trio is recognized for its ability to capture their young audience’s attention and to keep it.

Their educational music philosophy inspires a child’s natural curiosity to explore, learn, play and grow. They have performed at Disneyland, the US Capitol and Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, to mention but a few venues and they have audio releases and videos in national release.

For tickets ($10) and further information about the show call the box office at 203-438-5795 or visit www.RidgefieldPlayhouse.org.

The Playhouse is at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street.
