Openings On Local Boards

The Newtown Republican Committee is seeking candidates for various boards and commissions that have vacancies or that will have vacancies in the immediate future.

These positions include an alternate for the Commission on Aging, Economic Development Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Board of Ethics, and Water Pollution Control Authority.

Any interested Republican who is a resident of Newtown should call Barbara O’Connor, chairman of the candidates committee, at 426-1515; Carol Recht, chairman of the RTC, at 426-2701, or any member of the town committee.

Interviews will be held December 1.
