Pickup Truck Accident

Motorist Carlos DaSilva, 25, of Norwalk was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup truck westward on Mt Pleasant Road about 10:30 pm October 14, when DaSilva drove to the right and struck some curbing and a residential mailbox, damaging the mailbox, police report.

DaSilva then parked the damaged truck on Johnnie Cake Lane, police said. The truck’s right-side tires and exterior rear-view mirror were damaged in the crash, police report. There were no injuries.

After investigating, police charged DaSilva with evading responsibility and with making a restricted turn.
