Business Times Honors Jean Ahn Of Sandy Hook
NEW HAVEN â Since 1994, New Haven Business Times has recognized the achievements of area professionals who make significant contributions to the greater New Haven community. The local trade publication honors 40 men and women under the age of 40 at an annual breakfast called â40 under 40.â
This year, Newtown resident Jean Ahn, the director of Planning and Business Development at Yale New Haven Health System, was one of three employees honored.
Ms Ahn began her career at Yale-New Haven Hospital as a fellow. Previously, she worked at Boston Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, both in Boston.
A native of Old Town, Maine, Ms Ahn earned a bachelorâs degree in political science from Wellesley College and earned a masterâs degree in health administration from Cornell University. Last year, she was honored by the Connecticut chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives as the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year. She is a board member of the Fairfield Villages Wellesley Club and participates in the Relay for Life and United Way Day of Caring. She and her husband, Jonathan Han, live in Sandy Hook
