Adult Volunteers Needed

For Girl Scouts

Girls in kindergarten through twelfth grade can join Girl Scouts of Connecticut, and adult volunteers are needed to make Girl Scouting possible. Adults are trained to guide girls in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, which brings life and job skills, new experiences, and friendships to both girls and adults.

Leaders help girl scouts develop strong values and self-esteem, fostering their discovery of important issues, and encourage them to take action to help others and the world around them.

Training materials are provided for volunteer positions. Girl Scout Council staff and experienced volunteers provide accessible courses and support.

Whether an adult can give a consistent amount of time each week or month or only a few hours now and then, there are many ways for people to volunteer.
