Edward Chris Venti, 92, of Southbury, died at Ashlar of Newtown November 18. Mr Venti was born May 10, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Guisseppe and Fara Ventimiglia. He was the husband of Marie (Marcellino) Venti.
Mr Venti operated Canine 21 Kennels in Newtown for many years. He was formerly of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., Newtown, Bethel, and Heritage Village.
Besides his wife of 67 years, he leaves two daughters, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Mr Venti retired as an advertising executive with Tony Venti Studios of New York City. He was an animal lover and avid gardener who will be remembered by those who knew him for his humor and quick wit.
Friends and family are invited to call Sunday, November 23, at the Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury, from 2 to 4 pm.
