Tennis At The Sports Academy
Newtown Parks and Recreation is offering an indoor tennis program through Fairfield County Tennis at the new Newtown Youth Sports Academy, an indoor facility with regulation tennis courts. Fairfield County Tennis kicked off the first session on November 17.
Openings are still available, however, classes cannot be pro-rated. Those with late registrations that miss a class or two may attend another class during the current session (or next session, beginning February 23) providing there is availability. For specific dates and times, visit www.fairfieldcountytennis.net. Session dates and times are subject to change due to enrollment.

The 10-week sessions are offered for Pee Wees (ages 3-5), and Juniors (ages 8-10 & 11-13) for Beginners, Advanced Beginners, Low Intermediate and Tournament Training for the junior and high school players seeking more training for competitive play.
Adult sessions are offered for Beginner/Advanced Beginner, Low Intermediate/Intermediate, and USTA Levels 2.5 through 4.0 for both men and women. Day and evening sessions are available. Private and semi-private lessons available upon request. Andy Jorgenson, former Tennis Club of Trumbull Pro, will once again join the teaching staff.
