BETHLEHEM â The Bellamy & Ferriday House & Garden will be part of Bethlehem Christmas Town Festivalâs celebration of its 25th silver anniversary on Friday, December 2, from 6 to 9 pm, and Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm.
The historic house museum will be decorated with a silver theme including tree ornaments made by Bethlehem Elementary School students and silver items from the museumâs collection. Guides will be available to give brief histories of two former owners, the Reverend Joseph Bellamy (1719-1790) and Caroline Woolsey Ferriday (1902-1990).
Childrenâs activities will include a scavenger hunt while touring the house and a free ornament making workshop in the servantsâ kitchen.
Hot cider will also be served in the visitorâs center.
Luminaria lining the path from the green to the historic house will add to the festivities on Friday night.
Admission is $2 per adult or the donation of two canned food items and children are free. All canned goods collected will be donated to families in the Bethlehem community who can use a helping hand this holiday season.
