The Newtown Turkey Trot 5K is sold out, but there are still spots open for the 2.2K Fun Walk.  To register for the Fun Walk or have a name added to the waitlist for the 5K, you can register at www.newtownturkeytrot.com.

The annual Newtown Turkey Trot, sponsored by Newtown Savings Bank to benefit the C.H. Booth Library, begins at 7:45 am, Thursday, November 28, at Hawley School, traverses a course that includes Main Street, before finishing at the Newtown Middle School.

The walking course has the same start and finish, but cuts off of Schoolhouse Hill onto Wendover Road.
