BRIDGEPORT — A Bead of Roses will host a Women’s Empowerment Seminar during which several guest speakers will share inspirational messages related to balancing life, career, family, finances and healing.

The event will be Wednesday, December 4, from 7:30 to 10 am, at Bridgeport Holiday Inn, 1070 Main Street.

The lead speaker for the event is Scarlett Lewis, author of Healing Nurturing Love: A mother’s journey of healing and forgiveness. Limited copies of the book, written by the Sandy Hook resident following the death of her son Jesse on 12/14, will be available for purchase at the event. Ms Lewis will be available to signed copies. Breakfast will be served at 7:30, and parking is free.

Tickets for the seminar are $15, and must be purchased in advance due to limited seating.
