Right-Wing Zealots
Right-Wing Zealots
To the Editor:
In response to the letter in last weekâs paper written by Ernest Vitarbo [âThe Majorityâs Mistakeâ] in which he repeated all the various right-wing lies and talking points regarding now President-elect Obama:
Itâs fortunate that these people and others like him will have something to do while the rest of us rebuild the country and world they destroyed over the past eight years.
The right-wing zealots will be ranting and raving regardless of what is done. The definition of a zealot is someone who redoubles their efforts when they have forgotten their goals. These people have long since forgotten anything resembling a principle.
It just goes to show that some of the old sayings are still appropriate. You can lead a horse to water but you canât make him think.
