Flagpole Photographers Camera Club extends an invitation to explore the ongoing “Newtown & Beyond Exhibition” at Newtown Municipal Center. The showcase features a diverse array of works created by club members and will be on view until December 30, with numerous pieces for sale.

The municipal center is at 3 Primrose Street within the Fairfield Hills campus, and the exhibition can be viewed weekdays between 8 am and 4:30 pm. It can also be enjoyed during evening Town board and commission meetings.

In 2025, the club experienced a remarkable year marked by substantial growth and enhanced community involvement. Membership reached the highest level in the club’s 40-year history, with more than 40 active members and many others attending its free educational programs.

Looking ahead to 2026, the club will kick off its regular programming with an inspiring presentation by photographer John Munno. “The Zen of Landscape Photography” will explore the art and techniques of capturing the natural world. This event is scheduled for Thursday, January 8, 7:30 to 9 pm, at Newtown Senior Center, 8 Simpson Street. The program is free and open to all.
