Jacket Found

Police are seeking the owner of a “Big Smith”-brand blue canvas work jacket, which was found along South Main Street, near the Ram Pasture. Police received the item for safekeeping on December 1. The jacket bears a “Harley-Davidson Motorcycles” patch on the back. The owner should contact Sergeant Darlene Froehlich at the police station to claim the jacket.

Sign Vandalism

Sometime during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, someone used spray paint to deface several commercial signs positioned along Turnberry Lane in Curtis Corporate Park, an industrial park off Toddy Hill Road, police said. Police are investigating the case of second degree criminal mischief and ask anyone with information about the vandalism to contact them at 426-5841.

Lexus Into Tree

Motorist Felicia Mbye, 31, of Bridgeport, was driving a 1992 Lexus ES-300 sedan westward on Wasserman Way about 6 pm November 28, when she lost control of the auto on the wet road, went off the westbound road shoulder and struck a tree, police said.

Police said Mbye was not injured. Police issued her a written warning for making a restricted turn.
