Newtown Interfaith Council is planning its annual public gathering for the community to honor those who died at Sandy Hook School on December 14, 2012.

During its most recent meeting in November, the council decided to conduct this year’s service at Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street, on Sunday, December 14, at 7 pm.

As in previous years, faith leaders from various Newtown religious communities will guide the community by reading from sacred texts and offering prayers, as well as allowing for times of individual reflection.

All are welcome.
