Book Signing At Your Healthy Pet

On Saturday, December 19, Your Healthy Pet, 224 South Main Street, is hosting a book signing and adoption event. The signing is for Cat Tales: True Love Stories with authors Dr Sharon Eisen and Linda Francese from 1 to 4 pm.

During that time there will also be several adult cats available for adoption from The Animal Center.

Dr Eisen has been a practicing veterinarian since 1984.

In 1991 she realized her dream of opening a feline-only practice in Brookfield, called The Complete Cat Clinic. Ms Francese has worked as the head technician at The Complete Cat Clinic since 2004.

Cat Tales: True Love Stories is a heartfelt collection of true love stories between cats and humans, and explores the complex, mysterious and unusual relationship people have with their cats.

The authors say the book examines âhow cats come into our lives and the many ways that they impact us.â

As a democrat that knows the value of loyalty and who has observed both Michelle Ku and Brandon Moore at Michelle’s recent event and at another gatherings, my family and I stand behind Michelle Ku. She has spent over 14 years actively fighting for Newtown residents and not simply a few months in order to run for a state seat. I think all the candidates are worthy of praise but I want someone who knows what new families and older residents need. I built our home in Newtown hoping our sons will return one day, after their work elsewhere winds down and during our current retirement, to raise families in Newtown. I want someone with a record of advocacy like Michelle’s but also with her sense of commitment and loyalty. I do agree that she deserves the DTC support but when a party is concerned about hurting candidates’ feelings, there is nothing you can do but put one foot in front of the other and she will do that with her usual strength, intelligence, integrity and transparency.

Moore Serves Newtown With Heart

Thank you for enlightening us. This is truly alarming and it says a great deal about any candidate that is endorsed by a group that misleads. My family and I stand behind Michelle Ku and her transparency and commitment. We moved into Newtown five years ago. We were complete strangers but saw her at rallies against gun violence and educational needs and other important matters. We attended several Democratic Town Committee meetings and heard her speak with knowledge, dignity and respect. We were able to ask her questions about the process and receive honest responses. She invested so much time in us and has educated us. I will restate “ it says a great deal about any candidate that is endorsed by a group that misleads”. Thank you for this information and perhaps the candidate that has been endorsed by that group should also address this troubling information because who you stand with, says a great deal about you and silence does as well.
