Newtown High School’s hockey team will once again host its Skate With The Nighthawks event, open to all Newtown/Sandy Hook children that play ice hockey. The free hockey session will take place at Danbury Ice Arena, 1 Independence Way, on Sunday, December 27, from 10 to 11:40 am.

Check-in will open at 8:45 am in the lobby. The event will include a series of skills, games, and practice drills conducted by the high school coaching staff and players. There will not be any checking/contact during the event. Players are encouraged to wear their organization’s game jerseys and must wear all equipment. Register on the Nighthawks hockey webpage.
