Parent Programs
Parent Connection is an organization formed by concerned parents and other informed citizens of Newtown to address the problem of substance use and abuse in our community.

âParenting With a Smile,â facilitated by Wendy Davenson, will be the topic of the next forum to be held on Wednesday, January 21, at 7 pm in Newtown Middle School auditorium.

Hope Support Group: If you are a parent with questions or concerns about your childâs possible or confirmed involvement with substances, you are invited to attend the Hope and Support group. This group meets Monday nights from 7:30 to 9:30 in the Parentâs Corner. All are welcome!

Youth Programs
Children Of Divorce Support Group: Meets the first and third Monday of the month from 6 to 7:15 pm. The next meeting is December 15 from 6 to 7:15pm.

Sib-Shops Support Group: For siblings of children who have disabilities will meet the second Monday of the month beginning January 12.
Both Children of Divorce and Sib-Shops Support groups are for children ages 7 to 12. For further information, contact Laurie at NYS.
4H: Grades 5 and 6. The next meeting is Tuesday. Due to the change in the weather, meetings will now be held at NYS.
HYSAB: (High School Youth Advisory Board) will meet Monday, December 15, at 5:45 pm.
MSYAB: (Middle School Youth Advisory Board) will meet Monday, December 15, at 5:45pm.
