*Here is my plan for a perfect Friday night: Dinner at Rancho Allegre followed by a good show at The Georgetown Saloon. Thanks to SOL DOG, that can be my Friday and yours next weekend. Rev, Ron, Mark and Curtiss return to The Georgetown Saloon on December 19. Have dinner, a few of the best nacho chips and salsa around, a round or two of margaritas at The Ranch (and no, I don’t receive a commission for each mention of that wonderful restaurant I fit into my column), and then head next door for the show. Perfection in a span of just a few hours.

Also, a reminder that members of the band are the regular hosts of an open mic night at The Avenue Café in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport every Thursday.

*While both performances of TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA were actually held last Saturday night at the Oakdale in Wallingford, the theater is very generously offering refunds to ticket holders who were unable to get to the show due to the weather. Refund requests must be submitted no later than Dacember 19.

Tickets purchased at the Oakdale box office, over the phone or online can be returned to the Oakdale’s box office in person or by mail to Oakdale Box Office, 95 South Turnpike Road, Wallingford CT 06492. Refunds will be issues in the same method by which they were purchased (cash, credit card, etc).

Tickets purchased during any of the pre-sales can also be returned in person or by mail.

Unclaimed tickets that were being held at Will Call are being automatically refunded to the purchaser’s credit card account.

Last Sunday’s CINDERELLA’S CHRISTMAS performances have been rescheduled to this Sunday, December 14. Refunds are also being offered for anyone unable to attend the performances, which will take place at 11 am and 3 pm. Refunds will be done in the same fashion for Cinderella as outlined above for TSO.

Contact the theater’s box office if you have any concerns or questions at 203-265-1501.

Until next week I’ll be seeing you… on the road.

Questions and comments should be sent to Shannon Hicks c/o The Newtown Bee, 5 Church Hill Road, Newtown, CT 06470, or shannon@thebee.com, or call the office at 426-3141.

Shows listed at club locations are for ages 21 and over unless specified.
