HARTFORD — Governor Dannel P. Malloy on December 12 announced that he is directing US and Connecticut flags to fly at half-staff on Monday, December 14, 2015, from sunrise to sunset in honor of the 20 children and six adults who were killed three years ago at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.

Newtown Hook & Ladder Company #1 is scheduled to lower the flag on the Main Street flagpole at 9 am Monday.
