Children’s Winter Session

Of Art Classes Begin Soon

The winter session of “Paint, Draw & More,” children’s drawing classes with Susan Jackson, taught by Dhyann Samuelson at Dick Blick in Newtown, will run from January 11 through February 15.

Classes are held Tuesday afternoons from 4-5 pm for ages 5-8, and 5-6 pm for ages 9-13. All materials are included.

Children will learn to draw in a non-judgmental, nurturing environment. They will use a variety of materials to draw what they see and to enhance their drawings with their own creative ideas. Drawing concepts like design, shading and perspective will all be taught.
