Millennium Internet Madness -

Classes For Kids

DANBURY — Kids ages 9 through 12 and their parents are invited during their time off from school to learn about fun Web sites for kids in the Danbury Library’s “Millennium Madness” Internet Class.

The class will be held in the library’s Technology Center on Monday, December 27, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Participants will learn about gadgets of the future and make their own predictions about future inventions, watch unique clocks count down to the new year as well as move forward and backward through time to sample technology of the 20th Century.

The Danbury Public Library is a department of the City of Danbury. The Library is administered by a director and governed by a nine-member board of trustees appointed by the Mayor. Over 400,000 adults and children annually visit the library checking out over 300,000 books, asking 35,000 reference questions and making 21,000 visits to the Library’s Technology Center. The Danbury Library is a member of the Fairfield Library Administrator’s Group, Western Connecticut Library Council, Innovative Interfaces Inc., CT Friends of the Library, City Center and the Danbury Chamber of Commerce.
