To The Editor:

The Garden Club of Newtown would like to Thank the Community.

Over 50 custom made wreaths, kissing balls, 45 floral arrangements, bags of greenery, and a Silent Auction with great Wines, Hand Crochet Scarf, Nutcrackers and Homemade jams and jellies.

This year was especially sweet; the Wreaths that are purchased from our friends at Caraluzzi’s were just beautiful, however, not enough for our Garden Ladies. Numerous types of greenery was added, also bows, ornaments and painted palm fronds.

The sale was held at the Congregational Church, who has been so generous to us! The main Hall allows us to create and then display all the wonderful Christmas Wreaths. We opened our doors at 9am to 30 anxious buyers, wanting to buy just the perfect wreath for their front door.

All the money raised goes toward scholarships.

Thanks to all our members, it was our best year ever!
