Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue and Tolland Fire Department hosted its annual "Santa Sleigh Rides" on Saturday, December 13. The two fire companies collaborated for the annual afternoon of holiday fun, offering rides on the sleigh for all who visited the Riverside Road firehouse.

Members of Tolland Fire Department have been visiting Sandy Hook with Santa, his sleigh, and a few escort vehicles for over a decade. Members of Sandy Hook VFR Ladies Auxiliary provided light refreshments and simple activities to keep children occupied while they wait in line for their turn on the sleigh.
