Blanche H. (Steinburg) Bianco, 101, of Newtown, died December 17 at Ashlar of Newtown. Mrs Bianco was the wife of the late Anthony A. Bianco, MD, who died in 1994. She was born in South Mountain, Ontario, Canada, on August 6, 1905, a daughter of Richard and Martha (Barkley) Steinburg.

Two daughters, Martha Robilotti and her husband, Gerard, of Newtown and Barbara LeKashman and her husband, John, of San Jose, Calif., survive Mrs Bianco. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Deborah Lonrau, John LeKashman, David LeKashman, Karen LeKashman, Mark Robilotti, and Elizabeth Robilotti; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew LeKashman, Kenneth LeKashman, Katria LeKashman, and Marissa Anna LeKashman.

Before her retirement, Mrs Bianco was a longtime nurse at Bellevue Hospital, New York City.

Funeral services are private. Interment will be in State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. There are no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Danbury Hospital Development Fund, Inc, 24 Hospital Avenue, Danbury CT 06810 for the Robilotti Conference Center or to the charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements are in care of the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
