Boggs Hill Crash

Police report a two-car accident at the intersection of Boggs Hill Road and Head O’Meadow Road about 9:20 pm December 28.

Police said motorist Timothy S. McCloud, 16, of 6 Purdy Station Road, who was driving a 1989 Volvo 245 station wagon, was making a left turn from Head O’ Meadow Road to go northbound on Boggs Hill Road, as motorist Alex Cameron-Braley, 18, of 14 Currituck Road was driving a 1988 BMW 535-i southbound on Boggs Hill Road.

The Volvo and BMW collided in the intersection, police said. There were no injuries. Police issued McCloud a written warning stating he failed to grant the right of way at an intersection.
