To Newtown Ambulance

To the Editor:

On Friday, September 5, I had an accident at my home that required my family to call 911. Fortunately, Newtown Ambulance came to the rescue.

Newtown Ambulance showed why it is a first-rate organization. Their response time and the care I received both at my home and on the way to Danbury Hospital was exceptional. They did everything possible to make a tough situation less traumatic on both myself and family.

I don’t know all of the member’s full names, but a big, heart-felt “thank you” to Kate, John, Tom (paramedic), and Mary. I believe all of you were at my home at some point during the excitement.

This is one organization that should never be taken for granted.
