Plastic Surgeon To Speak At Bariatric Support Group Meeting

DANBURY –– Plastic surgeon Gregory Brucato, MD, will be the featured speaker at the next meeting of the Bariatric Support Group meeting at Danbury Hospital. The program will be conducted on Wednesday, December 17, from 6 to 8 pm, in the John C. Creasy Center for Health Education auditorium at Danbury Hospital. Dr Brucato will discuss plastic surgery options following gastric bypass surgery.

The Bariatric Support Group meets at Danbury Hospital on the third Wednesday of every month to help answer any questions people may have who are considering gastric bypass surgery, and to provide continuous support and maintenance of weight loss following surgery. Gastric bypass surgery is considered a safe and effective surgical treatment for weight loss of severe obesity for people who meet the surgical criteria.
