Lillian M.     O’Connor

Lillian M.O’Connor, of Nunnawauk Road, Newtown, formerly of Bayonne, N.J., wife of the late Timothy B. O’ Connor, Sr, died at Ashlar of Newtown on October 17.

She was born in Jersey City, N.J., daughter of the late Otto and Katie Henderson, and had resided in Bayonne most of her life, moving to Newtown five years ago. While residing in Newtown, she was a member of St Rose of Lima Church.

Mrs O’Connor is survived by a son, Timothy B. O’Connor and his wife, Barbara of Newtown; two granddaughters, Kathryn Elliott and her husband, Donald, of South Windsor and Karen O’Connor of Wilton; one grandson, Timothy J. O’Connor and his wife, Kimberly of Potomac, Md.; two great grandsons John Timothy Elliott and Brendan William Elliott and one great-granddaughter, Grace Darcy O’Connor; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Blumetti and Clara Gelato.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, on Saturday, October 20 at 9 am. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Friday, from 5 to 8 pm.
