NMS Interact Club Accepting

Food Drive Donations

The Newtown Middle School Interact Club is collecting items for a food drive through May 22 to donate to the Faith Food Pantry.

According to NMS Interact Club Advisor Bruce Moulthrop, items especially needed are paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, laundry detergent, dish detergent, coffee, tuna fish, cake mixes, and canned fruit. Other nonperishable food items will also be welcome.

Mr Moulthrop also said for people donating to the food drive to be mindful of expiration dates, and pasta is not needed at this time.
