Postal Carriers Food Drive Is Saturday

An annual food collection is taking place this Saturday and postal carriers will collect food items while traveling their route throughout the day. Traditionally, the second Saturday of May has been designated for this collection, which will benefit the food bank.

This week residents should have received by mail reminders to place nonperishable food items in bags inside or next to their mailboxes. Volunteers are also sought to help with collections. Contact Social Services for details at 270-4330. Contributions can also be dropped off at the post office.
