Salvation Army Collection Planned

Start cleaning out those closets, shelves and attics: The Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps will host a collection for Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, September 27, at the ambulance garage on Main Street.

Residents are invited to drop off clothing, small household items and linens between 8 am and 5 pm. Please note nonperishables will not be accepted during this collection.

Tax receipts will be available upon request.
