Get Started With Computers:
The Basics At Booth Library
Spend a fun and informative morning at C.H. Booth Library learning the very basics about computers on Friday, June 1, from 9 to 11 am, on the third floor in the reference department.
This free, hands-on, two-hour class for seniors will explain the parts of a computer (software and hardware) as well as teach basic computer skills: the mouse, clicking, how to type a letter, what the Internet is, and how to access it.
âHave no fear,â says Booth Library Reference Librarian Andrea Zimmermann. âProfessional trainer Diane McKeever conveys this basic information in a clear and fun way.â
Reservations are requested and can be done by calling 203-426-4533. The library is at 25 Main Street.
The library is normally closed Friday mornings so people who sign up will need to use the handicapped/side or back entrance to gain access to the class.
This class is made possible through a grant from General Electric Corporation.
