Workshop On Childhood Depression
The Family Counseling Center is sponsoring a workshop entitled âThe Depressed Childâ October 23 at the C.H. Booth Library Community Room at 7 pm.
Children and adolescents can suffer from depression. Their behavior when depressed may differ from the behavior of depressed adults. This workshop is an opportunity to learn more about the signs of depression in children and teenagers.
Amy Singer, a licensed clinical social worker, will lead the workshop. She will teach how to recognize the signs of depression and what kinds of treatments are available.
