Regional Business Council Launches ChamberMail

BRIDGEPORT — The Bridgeport Regional Business Council is now offering the ChamberMail™ Program to assist its members in finding new customers. ChamberMail targets new homeowners and new renters in the chamber’s multitown service area of Bridgeport, Stratford, and Trumbull, and is currently offered to members only of the Business Council and its affiliates – the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce, Stratford Chamber of Commerce, and Trumbull Chamber of Commerce.

According to Bridgeport Chamber President and Newtown resident Tim Bartlett, businesses do not have to be located in these communities to be BRBC or affiliate chamber members.

The primary purpose of this program is to assist Business Council Members in finding new business during the current economic climate.

Paul S. Timpanelli, president and CEO of the Bridgeport Regional Chamber of Commerce, said the ChamberMail Program’s goal is to offer members — and new neighbors just moving into the region — a tangible, useful, and profitable tool that can connect member businesses to new customers.

“While new homeownership numbers are down over the last few years, homes continue to sell and new residents continue to move into our area,” said Mr Timpanelli. “These new neighbors are looking to the Business Council for guidance on where to purchase the products and services they will inevitably need.”

ChamberMail is a business-to-consumer, direct mail brochure delivered weekly into the hands of all new homeowners and new residents in Bridgeport, Stratford, and Trumbull.
