Rose Receives Regentâs Award
DANBURY â The Connecticut Association of Health Care Executives awarded Henderson W. Rose, MHA, director of operations for the Danbury Office of Physician Services, PC, the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Early Career Healthcare Executive Regentâs Award recently at their annual meeting.
Gerard D. Robilotti, executive vice president of Danbury Hospital, presented the award to Mr Rose. Mr Robilotti, former regent of this Connecticut ACHE chapter, currently serves as chairman of the ACHE nominating committee. The Early Career Award recognizes ACHE affiliates who have significantly contributed toward the advancement of healthcare management excellence and the achievement of the goals of ACHE.
Affiliates are evaluated on leadership ability, innovative, and creative management, executive capability in developing their own organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community, participation in local, state, or provincial hospital and health association activities, participation in civic and community activities and projects, and participation in college activities and interest in assisting the college in achieving its objectives.
Mr Rose has served as director of operations for the Danbury Office of Physician Services, PC, since 2004. Prior to this position, he served as corporate compliance officer, Danbury Office of Physician Services, PC, senior auditor, Audit & Compliance Consulting Services at Danbury Hospital and supervisor of Health Information Management at Danbury Hospital.
Henderson Rose holds affiliate member status in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He also is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Medical Group Management Associates, Regentâs Advisory Council for Connecticut Healthcare Executives, New England Healthcare Auditorâs Association and the City of Danbury Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr Rose earned a bachelorâs degree from Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, Connecticut, and a masterâs in Healthcare Administration from Western Connecticut State University, Danbury.
