SWC_Tournaments

The South-West Conference has announced its schedule for the fall tournaments in cross country, volleyball, field hockey, soccer, swimming and football.

Admission for each contest will be $5.

The schedule is as follows:

 

Cross country - Championship meet for boys and girls will be held Friday, October 19, 4 pm, at Bethel High School.

Volleyball - Quarter-finals will be held on Friday or Saturday, October 26 or 27, at the home of the higher-ranked team (which will determine the date and time). Top eight teams qualify. The semi-finals will be held Tuesday, October 30, at Jonathan Law at 4 and 7 pm. The finals are scheduled for Thursday, November 1, 7 pm, at Jonathan Law.

Field Hockey - Semi-finals will be held on Tuesday, October 30, at the home of the higher-ranked team. The finals will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2:30 pm, at a site yet to be determined.

Boys Soccer - Quarter-finals will be held Saturday, October 27, at the home of the higher-ranked team. Top eight teams qualify. The semi-finals will be held Tuesday, October 30, at Newtown High School at 4:30 and 7 pm. The finals will be held on Friday, November 2, 4:30 pm, at Penders Field in Stratford.

Girls Soccer - Quarter-finals will be held on Saturday, October 27, at the home of the higher-ranked team. Top eight teams qualify. The semi-finals will be held Tuesday, October 30, at Masuk High School at 4:30 and 7 pm. The finals will be held on Friday, November 2, 7 pm, at Penders Field in Stratford.

Girls Swimming - The diving portion of the championship meet will be held on Wednesday, October 31, at Foran High School, at 5:30 pm. The swimming portion of the championship meet will be held on Saturday, November 3, at Foran High School, at 3:30 pm.

Football - The conference championship will be held on Thursday, November 15, at 7 pm, at Bunnell High School.
