New Treatments For Eye Disorders

DANURY — Danbury Hospital will sponsor a free medical town meeting, “The Eyes Have It… New Treatments For Eye Disorders,” on Tuesday, October 17, from 7 to 8:30 pm in the hospital auditorium.

Board certified ophthalmologists from Danbury Hospital will discuss what is new in the diagnosis and treatment of common eye disorders including cataracts and lens implantation, glaucoma, macular degeneration, retina surgery, diabetes and diabetic retinopathy, laser vision correction, pediatric eye muscle disease, eyelid rejuvenation, and information about the Array lens.

A prize drawing, giveaways, and light refreshments also will be provided.

The physicians who will participate include Bruce Altman, Richard Casden, Betty Klein, Hindola Konrad, Stephen Mathias, Matthew Paul, Vincent Reppucci, Marvin Sperling, and Stephen Zuckerman. All are affiliated with Danbury Hospital’s Department of Surgery, Section of Ophthalmology.
