Joseph S. Kapusta

Beloved Husband, Father, And Grandfather

Joseph S. Kapusta, 64, of Oxford, died January 14, at St Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury. Mr Kapusta was born September 16, 1947, in Derby, son of Genevieve (Grabowski) and Joseph M. Kapusta. He was the beloved husband of 44 years to Valerie (Tabaka) Kapusta.

Two daughters, including Kimberly Rossi, and her husband Massimo, of Newtown, two grandchildren, four siblings, and several nieces and nephews survive Mr Kapusta.

He was a retired lithographer from Schwak, Inc, Stamford. He was a member of the Graphic Communications Conference of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and had served as the Union Steward while at Schwak.

Mr Kapusta’s hobbies included spending time by the ocean, skiing, and golf, but mostly spending time with his twin grandchildren.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 23, in St Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Road, Oxford, at 10 am. Interment will be private. Family and friends are invited to call Sunday, January 22, from 3 to 6 pm, in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to St Mary’s Hospital, Vitas Hospice, 56 Franklin Street, Waterbury CT 06706, or to the Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut, (MFP Program), 1 Long Wharf Drive, New Haven CT 06511.
