Robert J. LaPak, age 81, of Norwalk, died Thursday, September 11, 2008, at his home. He was a son of the late Bertha and Frank LaPak.

He is survived by two brothers, Frank of Newtown and Richard of Tupelo, Miss., and one sister, Bertha (LaPak) Divine of Brookfield. He is also survived by a son, Peter, a daughter, Maryanne LaPak, and three grandchildren.

Mr LaPak was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Hodges LaPak.

He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was also a member of South Norwalk Boat Club.

Services were Wednesday, September 17, at Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk, with burial following at Riverside Cemetery.

Contributions in Mr LaPak’s name may be made to a favorite charity.
