Heart Healthy Holiday Tips

SOUTHBURY — Sandra Micalizzi, a clinical nurse specialist with the Heart Center of Greater Waterbury, will present “Heart Healthy Tips for the Holidays” from 2 to 4 pm on Tuesday, November 29, at River Glen Health Care Center.

The talk will contain information about making heart healthy food choices over the holidays, including how to read labels to determine nutritional value.

The Heart Center of Greater Waterbury is an advanced cardiac care program offering patients at St Mary’s Hospital and Waterbury Hospital immediate access to a complete range of cardiac services, including angioplasty and open heart surgery.
