Classes For Alzheimer’s Caregivers

­­NEW FAIRFIELD — A four-part training program for Alzheimer’s caregivers will be held from 7 to 9 pm on Thursdays beginning September 7 at the New Fairfield Senior Center, 4 Brush Hill Road. The program also will include a session on “Legal Issues and Dementia” on Thursday, October 5.

The course is designed to enhance both the knowledge and the skills of family members, friends, and professional caregivers. Many  specialists who are caring for people with chronic memory loss, such as registered nurses, doctors, elder care attorneys, social workers, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists will present the course.
